State Sen. Jamie Eldridge, D-Acton, was sworn in Jan. 7 for his fourth term as state senator of the Middlesex and Worcester District in a formal ceremony held in the Senate Chamber of the State House.
The district is comprised of 14 communities, including Acton, Ayer, Boxborough, Harvard, Hudson, Littleton, Marlborough, Maynard, Northborough, Shirley, Southborough, Stow, Sudbury and Westborough. Eldridge was first elected to the Senate in 2008 after serving three terms in the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
“I am deeply honored to continue serving the Middlesex and Worcester district for a fourth term,” said Eldridge. “I am grateful for the strong support from residents and their collaboration to help strengthen each community in the district. There are many challenges to tackle in the 2015-16 session, and I am eager to begin working on solutions. I also look forward to serving alongside new Senate President Stanley Rosenberg to build on improving transparency in government with more thoughtful debate that will make a difference in the lives of Massachusetts residents.”
Members of the public are welcome to contact Eldridge at his State House or district office any time with questions, comments and concerns at 617-722-1120 or email@example.com, or by visiting senatoreldridge.com.
