This session Jamie has filed the following bill to support veterans:

An Act relative to eligibility for veteran survivor benefits

A number of veterans benefits need to be applied for within certain time limitations and in some circumstances otherwise eligible veterans and their family members are denied those benefits because they did not know to apply for them until it was too late.  This bill will clarify that veterans or their beneficiaries in such circumstances should be determined to be eligible for such benefits.
