Funding would provide for staffing and educational programs at the Fort Devens Museum
BOSTON—Senator Jamie Eldridge (D-Acton) fought to pass $100,000 in the budget for fiscal year 2017 for critical staffing and educational programs at the Fort Devens Museum.
“The Fort Devens Museum commemorates the rich history of New England’s largest military base and provides a fun, educational experience for people of all ages in the region,” said Senator Eldridge. “I am pleased that I was successfully able to advocate for this vital funding to ensure that the museum has the capacity to be able to provide these great services for visitors.”
The Senate and House budget now goes to Conference Committee to resolve the differences between both versions.
