WHAT: State Senator Jamie Eldridge announces the 29th Annual Senior Conference, a fun-filled and informative event for local seniors.
The event, which is entirely free for seniors, features coffee and donuts in the morning, a hot, catered lunch, health screenings, entertainment by the Sudbury Strutters, and lots of door prizes, including a Bose Wave Radio.
Some of the day’s workshops include:
- “How to avoid scams and identity theft,” by the Attorney General’s office
- “Making the most of senior discounts”
- “Belly dancing”
- “Everything you always wanted to ask an attorney concerning your estate”
- “FDR – Nothing to Fear”
- “Help with your prescription drug costs”
- “Hot paraffin wax hand treatments”
