An Act to protect private electronic communication, browsing and other activity
This bill has five main provisions. The bill requires police to obtain warrants for digital searches, and creates a statutory warrant requirement for police use of a cell-site simulator. The bill also establishes transparency and reporting requirements on digital searches, outlaws police use of reverse location and provides for robust enforcement mechanisms to ensure compliance.

An Act to ensure a free and open internet in the commonwealth
This bill would assert the Commonwealth’s authority to require Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to treat all online traffic equally, and prohibit ISPs from blocking, manipulating, or otherwise discriminating against legal Web content.
